I feel more like I'm guessing in the F/A-18C when I raise/lower the elevation. I don't know if that's a real feature, and if it is, if the F/A-18C had it and, if so, if it will be added in the future. Yeah, the F-15C's radar in the game has that nice set up with two carrots and the altitudes it's scanning between depending on wherever you have your TDC slewed to for distance. ![]() ![]() the f-15's two dots, why the 1 carrot when changing elevation? Will I have to always move my cursor around to check different elevations?Įdit: I figured out you could do the same thing in the F-18 without moving the cursor, but there is only 1 carrot when you change the elevation vs. On the F-15 you would have two dots on your left side of the radar that you could move up or down manually so you didn't HAVE to move your cursor and could just keep it centered. I'm moving from the F-15 to the F-18 and i have a grasp on most things on how the radar works except how to change the elevation of where my radar beam is looking
